We homeschool and we need a basic microscope. This Bosch model exceeded our expectations. the metal frame is solid. focusing mechanisms are accurate. the LED light is bright. the software loaded smoothly. However, I have a few nits to pick. the microscope is equipped with three eyepieces. I think they are 2 x, 10 x and digital imaging device. to achieve higher magnifications (up to 1000 x) or view the images on a computer, you must replace the eyepiece of 2 x, which
